o INSURANCE NOT ON FILE N-2021-035-01 <br />N <br />N WORK MAY NOT PROCEED <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />a DATE: <br />Q FIRST AMENDMENT TO PROVIDE ADMINISTATIVE HEARING SERVICES <br />WITH SILVER & WRIGHT LLP <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT to the above -referenced agreement is entered into on April 9, 2021, <br />by and between Silver & Wright, LLP, a California limited liability partnership ("Contractor"), <br />and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under <br />the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("City"). <br />RECITALS <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement No. N-2021-035, dated February 18, 2021, by <br />which Contractor agreed to serve as a neutral administrative hearing officer and <br />provide on -call professional administrative hearing services for the City <br />("Agreement'). <br />B. The Agreement is current, and in effect, and continues through February 17, 2022. <br />C. The parties now wish to augment the overall amount of compensation related to an <br />increase in services to be provided by the Contractor during the term of the <br />Agreement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br />terns and conditions of said Agreement, except as herein modified, the parties agree as follows: <br />Section 2.a., Compensation, is amended to increase the overall compensation in <br />the amount of $15,000. The total amount to be expended during the term of the <br />Agreement shall not exceed $20,000. <br />2.
