Advanced Telecommunications Technician 3 <br />Educational Objective <br />This program prepares students for various positions in all core aspects of the field of communications <br />technology and installation, as well as the Commercial and Residential Security, CCTV Surveillance, and <br />Alarm and Automation Installation industries. Students will learn fiber optics, twisted pair copper cabling, and <br />cable television, satellite, and alarm installation, as well as outside plant construction and FTTx splicing, <br />testing, and trouble -shooting processes.
