School District, implementing another cohort of our Teen Ambassadors Program to <br />continue to provide education and resources on teen dating violence and empowering <br />teens to become advocates among their peers and community. <br />To our knowledge, there are no other domestic violence agencies providing educational <br />programming on teen dating and relationship violence in Santa Ana schools. <br />d) Proposal shall include details of collaborations with local organizations <br />Our affiliation with Family Resource Centers in Orange County allows us to have a <br />consistent presence in high -risk communities, fostering trust with community members, <br />and local organizations, connecting us with disadvantaged children and youth. Human <br />Options provides services at eight Family Resource Centers in the County, including <br />Minnie Street Family Resource Center and Corbin Family Resource Center, both <br />located in the City of Santa Ana. This validates our ability to collaborate with other <br />partners to meet the needs of families in different communities. <br />Human Options has had a presence in the City of Santa Ana over 18 years as the lead <br />agency of the Minnie Street Family Resource Center, which includes a collaboration <br />among local community organizations to work together in providing comprehensive <br />services for children and families. <br />Human Options demonstrates stability in collaborating with its partners and embraces <br />the impact of collaborative work by offering an array of services that are driven by <br />community needs. Our long-standing partnerships and our multi -service approach will <br />strengthen families and promote services that focus on the protective factors to <br />decrease and prevent child abuse, domestic violence, and community violence. <br />To better engage youth and outreach for the Teen Ambassador program, Human <br />Options will collaborate with existing partners, establish new relationships to enhanced <br />program provision, and engage youth. <br />e) Proposal shall include details of innovation in programiservice delivery <br />Human Options is well known throughout Orange County and the first provider to offer <br />prevention education programs in schools. What makes our program unique is our <br />focus is not solely serving victims of domestic violence, but preventing domestic <br />violence and educating and empowering disadvantaged youth and at -risk populations to <br />prevent and provide early intervention of teen relationship violence through educational <br />opportunities that promote leadership and character development. <br />Human Options has been working fervently to meet the dynamic and changing needs of <br />our youth because of the COVID-19 crisis. We have increased our education and <br />outreach efforts through virtual platforms and social media aware that youth may not <br />be able to access our services. <br />By increasing our social media presence and use of virtual platforms, we hope to be <br />able to educate and reach the youth in the Santa Ana community on domestic and teen <br />
