Mission/Vision Statement <br />Mission <br />The NTMA Training Centers will provide Machining Education and Training by: <br />• Preparing qualified candidates for entry level machining jobs. <br />• Providing advanced machinist training courses to current industry employees. <br />• Promoting professional work ethics and values to all students. <br />Vision <br />To supply the Southern California Machining Industry with a healthy, well -trained <br />workforce while elevating the image of the industry. <br />Accreditations, Approvals and Memberships <br />• Accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), <br />a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of <br />Education. <br />• Approved to operate by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE), <br />approval to operate means compliance with state standards. Approval to operate <br />means compliance with state standards as set forth in the CEC and 5, CCR <br />• Recognized as an institution eligible for participation authorized under the Higher <br />Education Act of 1965 by the United States Department of Education <br />• Approved for the training of veterans and eligible persons under the provisions of <br />Section 21.4253 (d) (1) and 21,4254 (b), Chapter 36, Title 38, U.S. Code. <br />• Designated for referrals by city and county, retraining, rehabilitation and vocational <br />guidance agencies <br />• Has Voluntary Education Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with <br />the Department of Defense (DOD) and eligible to participate in the (DOD) Tuition <br />Assistance (TA) Program. <br />• Accredited by the National Institute of Metalworking Standards (NIMS) <br />• NTMA is a Private Non -Profit Institution <br />Descriptions of Facility <br />On August 5, 2013, the campus moved to our new location at 12131 Telegraph Road, <br />Santa Fe Springs, Los Angeles County, California, where all classes are held. This new <br />two-story training center occupies 42,000 square feet located conveniently between <br />the 91, 5, and 605 freeways. The space consists of 11 classrooms, and computer <br />laboratories, a large machine shop, a student break area, and administrative offices. <br />The campus is equipped with all the necessary machining equipment and materials <br />essential to successfully train machinists for each program.
