If a student obtains a loan to pay for an educational program, the student will have to <br />repay the full amount of the loan plus interest, less the amount of any refund, and that, <br />if the student receives federal student financial aid funds, the student is entitled to a <br />refund of the monies not paid from federal financial aid funds. <br />Students that choose not to apply for federal aid or those that do not receive sufficient <br />loan amounts to cover all educational costs must make payment arrangements with the <br />Financial Aid Office. Students that are required to make monthly payments must sign a <br />Retail Installment Contract (RIC), provided to you by the Financial Aid office. Payments <br />are based upon any balance not paid by federal aid and required to be paid in full prior <br />to graduating. <br />Disbursements <br />Students must be in current attendance (in class) to receive award disbursements; meet <br />SAP then aid will be applied into their student accounts. You may access your loan <br />information at www.nslds.ed.gov. <br />Repayments <br />NTMA reports the student's last date of attendance to the Department of Education <br />(DOE) which will initiate student loan repayment.
