• Must earn a minimum wage rate per hour required by ETP. <br />• Students' employers must fill out and sign a Certification Statement (CS) and <br />Retraining Enrollment Agreement form. <br />Must have basic knowledge of shop mathematics and blue print reading and able to <br />read and write in English. <br />Program Prerequisites <br />Must have completed the CNC Machining class from any of the NTMA Training Centers <br />of Southern California locations. <br />Class Size <br />Maximum 20 trainees <br />Estimated Schedule of Total Charges for the Entire Educational Program <br />Tuition for the program is charged for a 16 or 18 week time period. <br />The following approximate cost applies to programs paid for by the student: <br />Application Fee: $ 75.00 <br />Tuition: $ 3,619.22 <br />(Includes $100.00 non-refundable Registration Fee) <br />Books: $ 155.78 <br />Tooling and Supplies: 125.00 <br />Total Cost for a Period of Attendance: $ 3,975.00 <br />ll. The following applies to programs funded by the State of California: <br />a. Employer has an in -kind contribution of $300.00, which includes the cost of the <br />book. <br />b. Students are not required to pay tuition for this program. Payment is based on a <br />contract with the State of California. <br />For schedule call Marcie Correa, Director of Retraining (562) 404-4295 ext. 131. <br />Mastercam (143 hour) <br />Program Scope and Objectives <br />This program is designed to train students to a higher level of competency in the <br />operation and programming of CNC machines through the instruction of Mastercam <br />CAD/CAM. Students learn the use of the CAM system to create and edit programs from <br />blueprints, construct programs using 2D tool paths, and generate programs to construct <br />wire frame models.
