Class Size <br />Maximum 20 trainees <br />Estimated Schedule of Total Charges for the Entire Educational Program <br />Tuition for the program is charged for a 16 or 18 week time period. <br />The following approximate cost applies to programs paid for by the student: <br />Application Fee: $ 75.00 <br />Tuition: $ 3,619.22 <br />(Includes $100.00 non-refundable Registration Fee) <br />Books: $ 155.78 <br />Tooling and Supplies: $ 125.00 <br />Total Cost for a Period of Attendance: $ 3,975.00 <br />II. The following applies to programs funded by the State of California: <br />a. Employer has an in -kind contribution of $300,00, which includes the cost <br />of the book. <br />b. Students are not required to pay tuition for this program. Payment is based on <br />a contract with the State of California. <br />For schedule call Marcie Correa, Director of Retraining (562) 404-4295 ext. 131. <br />40-Hour Blueprint Reading <br />Program Scope and Objectves <br />This course develops the skills to perform fundamental blueprint reading techniques, <br />emphasizing on third angle projection of blueprints, and applying basic techniques on <br />recognizing and understanding various mechanical prints from the NTMA's <br />Metalworking Training System. <br />The course is designed for individuals who have little to no blueprint reading <br />experience, and is centered on the following integrated areas: <br />• Identify classifications of Engineering drawings <br />• Describe the theory of projection <br />Identify the family of lines <br />• Understand the principles of Orthographic Projection <br />• Identify sectional & auxiliary views <br />• Identify dimensioning systems <br />• Understand the basics of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) <br />• Sketching techniques <br />• Layout <br />• Application techniques <br />Registration information: Santa Fe Springs (Main Campus) 562.921.3722 • Visit our Web site: www.trainingeenters.org <br />
