Functionality: automatic tool management, tool and part probing, 4-axis operations, <br />5-axis operations, and advanced canned cycles will be demonstrated. Upon completion, <br />students are able to perform advanced -level setups and operations on CNC machining <br />and turning centers. <br />Program Hours —Program Sequence <br />32 hours lecture +48 hours lab = 80 hours <br />Program Length <br />Classes are 8 hours on Saturdays for 10 weeks, a total of 80 hours of training or <br />4.0 hours two nights per week for 10 weeks, a total of 80 hours of training. <br />Class Size <br />Maximum 20 trainees <br />Estimated Schedule of Total Charges for the Entire Educational Program <br />Tuition for the program is charged for an 10 week time period. <br />The following approximate cost applies to programs paid for by the student: <br />Application Fee: $ 75.00 <br />Tuition: $ 2,795.00 <br />(Includes $100.00 non-refundable Registration Fee) <br />Books: $ 150.00 <br />Tooling and Supplies: $ 200.00 <br />Total Cost for a Period of Attendance: $ 3,220.00 <br />For schedule call Marcie Correa, Director of Retraining (562) 404-4295 ext. 131. <br />80-Hour Inspection <br />Program Scope and Objectives <br />The course is designed for those in the industry with no Inspection background and <br />is interested in learning the skills to perform fundamental inspection techniques. <br />Emphasizing on third angle projection of blueprints and applying basic concepts of <br />inspection techniques utilizing basic inspection tools and equipment, such as indicators, <br />micrometers, optical comparator, height gages, surface plates, and portable Coordinate <br />Measuring Machine (CMM) articulating arm.
