EXHIBIT 3 <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT <br />SUBRECIPTENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND <br />211 ORANGE COUNTY <br />(24 CFR Parts 91 and 576) <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENTTO TIIE EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT SUBRECIPIENT <br />AGREEMENT is entered into this 0� day of May, 2021, by and between the City of Santa Ana, a charter <br />city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and 211 Orange County ("Subrecipient"). <br />/I/ <br />RECITALS <br />A. On July 1, 2020, the City entered into an Eimergency Solutions Grant Subrecipient Agreement <br />with 211 Orange County to provide Emergency Funds fi-onn the United States Department of <br />Housing and urban Development (HUD) to be used in the operation of an einergency solution <br />program for the homeless or at risk of homelessness of the City of Santa Ana ("said <br />Agreement"). <br />B. In an effort to provide additional housing assistance activities to serve Santa Ana residents <br />experiencing homelessness, $6,248.40 will be reallocated to the 211 Orange County I-IMIS Data <br />Collection. <br />C. In accordance with the terns and conditions of said Agreement, the parties desire to arnend to <br />increase funds to the Subrecipient, which need to be spent by June 30, 2021- <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the <br />terms and conditions of said Agreement, except as herein modified, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Paragraph 5, shall be amended to increase founding to Subrecipient by $6,248.40 in <br />additional Data Collection and Outreach and Engagement Services. The new total suns shall <br />be increased from $1.5,028 to an amount not to exceed S21,276-40 in grant funding. <br />2. Section 1, subsection A, shall be amended to add the specific tasks required of the new funds <br />as depicted in Subrecipient's Scope of Services attached hereto as Exhibit A and <br />incorporated herein by reference. <br />3. Section III, shall be amended to increase funding to Subrecipient by $6,249-40, for a total <br />sum not to exceed $21,276.40. Subrecipient's Budget for these new funds is attached hereto <br />as Exhibit B and incorporated herein by reference- <br />4- Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged <br />and in hill force and cffect. <br />City Council 14 — 94 5/4/2021 <br />
