<br />in any mariner, lne detention, deportation, interro,,+ation, of an individual by inmrigration
<br />enforcement. Specifically, this bill:
<br />I ) Specifies that a state or local agency shall not arrest or assist with the arrest, confinennent,
<br />detection, transior, interrogation, or deportation of all individual for an immigration
<br />enforcement purpose ii any manner including, but not limited to, by notifying another
<br />agency or subcontractor thereof retarding the release date and time of an individual,
<br />releasing or lrauslcming an individual into the ettsLody of another agency or stdacontraclor
<br />thereof, or disclosing personal information, as specified, about all individual, including, but
<br />not luniied to, an iritlividual's date ofbirth. work address, hoiric address, or parole or
<br />probation check in date and time to another agency orsubcon(raclor thereof.
<br />2) Slates that the prohibition deselibed above shill apply notwithstanding any contrary
<br />provisions in the California Vahres Act, as specified, which allowed law entbi-cement to
<br />cooperate with innrngration authorities ill lurlited circumstances.

<br />4) Prohihits a state or meal agency or corns fiom using inimigrration status as a factor to deny or
<br />to reumnnend derml of probation or participation in any diversion, rehabilitaliorl, mental
<br />health program, or placement in a credit -earning program or class, or to determine custodial
<br />classification level, to deny mandatory supervision, or to lengthen the portion of supci%ision
<br />served in custody_
