The City Council of the City of Santa Ana is authorized by California <br />Government Code Section 50280 ct seq. (known as the "Mitts Act") to enter into <br />contacts with owners of qualified historical properties to provide for appropriate <br />use, maintenance, rehabilitation and restoration such that these I115tnr IC properties <br />Ictain their historic character and intcurity. <br />B. The Owner possesses fie title in and to that ecrtain qualified real propert-v <br />together with associated structures and improvcrncnis thereon, located at 2344 <br />North Riverside Drive. Santa Ana, CA, 92706 and more particularly described <br />in Exhibit "A," attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and <br />hereinafter rcicrt-cd to as the "Historic Property"- <br />Cl- The Historic Property is officially designated on the Santa Ana Register of <br />listoricnl Properties pursuant to the requirements of Chapter 30 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code. <br />D. City and Owner, for their nntntal benefit, now desire to enter into this Agreement <br />which defines and limils the use and alteration of this Historic Properly in order to <br />enhance and maintain its value as a cultural and historical resource Iitr Owner- and <br />for the wnumurit-v; to prevent inappropriate alterations to the Historic Property <br />-aid to ensure that repairs, additions, new building, and other changes are <br />appropri:-tte; and to ensure that rehabilitation and maintenance are carried out in an <br />cxcmplary manncr- <br />City Council 1 17 — 114 7/6/2021 <br />Exhibit 7 <br />
