<br />Ms. Vredeveld has over 10 years of experience in ecosystem monitoring and
<br />reporting, natural resources planning, and federal and local regulatory processes,
<br />particularly at the urban-wildland interface. Her diverse work experience includes a
<br />broad cross-section of clients and partners in California and Latin America covering
<br />long-range natural resource management plans, research, scientific and technical
<br />reports, social and environmental assessments, CEQA, NEPA, Endangered Species Act,
<br />Clean Water Act, stakeholder consensus facilitation, interdisciplinary collaboration
<br />coordination, fieldwork management, and Geographic Information Systems analyses.
<br />Her responsibilities include preparation of complex technical reports and integrated
<br />planning documents, resource constraints analyses, habitat assessments, agency
<br />permitting packages, oversight of fieldwork and subconsultants, management of
<br />environmental compliance monitoring, and coordination with regulatory agencies.
<br />She advises clients on developing the most appropriate biological resources
<br />assessment, compliance, and mitigation strategies for their projects and performs
<br />technical quality assurance/quality control of deliverables. For the last nine years she
<br />has managed projects for local, state, and federal agencies across southern
<br />California's unique habitats. She is fluent in Spanish.
<br />SELECT PROJECT EXPERIENCE
<br />Program Manager, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California
<br />(subconsultant to Helix), Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe Rehabilitation
<br />Program, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino Counties
<br />Ms. Vredeveld was the Program Manager for the suite of task orders issued for this
<br />project. She was responsible for coordinating development of environmental
<br />documentation (e.g., technical studies, CEQA analyses, and permitting applications)
<br />for biological, cultural, and paleontological resources, and hazardous materials, as
<br />well as overseeing general construction monitoring (for the above topics in addition
<br />to air quality, surface and stormwater control, noise, and transportation/traffic) for
<br />rehabilitation projects along more than 100 miles of five prestressed concrete
<br />cylinder pipelines extending through over 30 jurisdictions in Los Angeles, Orange, and
<br />San Bernardino Counties in both dense urban and remote rural regions. A total of 10
<br />task orders have been awarded to date.

<br />Mitigated Negative Declaration for Palos Verdes Reservoir Relining Project, City of
<br />Rolling Hills Estates
<br />Ms. Vredeveld coordinated development of CEQA Addendum under a tight timeline
<br />to address additional project activities required to complete upgrades to Palos Verdes
<br />Reservoir water storage and conveyance facilities. She authored the biological
<br />resources section, Quick turnaround of the CEQA Addendum allowed the client to
<br />continue construction activities without interruption.
