9. Approve a First Amendment to the Emergency Rental Assistance Program Spending <br />Plan and Appropriate $14 Million of Federal Emergency Rental Assistance Program <br />Money Allocated from the Department of Treasury (Non -General Fund) <br />Department(s): <br />Recommended Action: 1. Approve a First Amendment to the Emergency Rental <br />Assistance Program spending plan, subject to adjustment by the City Manager as <br />needed in response to shifting needs and priorities not to exceed the amount of funds <br />available. <br />2. Direct the City Attorney to finalize and authorize the City Manager to enter into <br />negotiations, execute agreements, and approve any other required actions <br />necessary with various service providers, contractors, and sub -recipients, who will <br />implement the First Amendment to the Emergency Rental Assistance Program <br />spending plan, subject to non -substantive changes approved by the City Manager <br />and City Attorney (Agreement No. 2021-XXX). <br />3. Approve an appropriation adjustment (#2022-011) recognizing an additional <br />allocation of Emergency Rental Assistance Program funds from the U.S. Department <br />of Treasury in the amount of $14,026,593.90 in revenue account and appropriating <br />same to expenditure account.
