students, and others who use the college's facilities. Pacific College does not tolerate sexual harassment of <br />employees or students at the school or in any school -related situation by anyone. If, after a prompt and <br />thorough investigation, it is determined that an employee or student or other person has engaged in <br />sexual harassment, that employee or student or other person will be subject to appropriate corrective <br />action, up to and including discharge or dismissal. <br />Student's Right to Cancel <br />Students have rights to cancel their enrollment at Pacific College during the first seven (7) business days <br />after starting class: <br />1. A student has the right to cancel the contract for enrollment, including any equipment or other <br />goods and services enclosed in the contract, within the first seven (7) business days following the <br />first day of class. <br />2. Cancellation shall occur when a student gives the written notice to Pacific College. The written <br />notice of cancellation needs not to be taken in any particular form or however it is expressed, as <br />long as it indicates that a student is no longer wished to be bound by the contract. <br />3. Cancellation notice can be sent by mail, hand delivery, or email. Students are required to send <br />the cancellation notice to the President of the College. The letter shall direct to: <br />Pacific College <br />Attn: President's Office <br />3160 Red Hill Ave <br />Costa Mesa, CA 92626 <br />4. The written notice of cancellation, if sent by mail, is effective when it is deposited in the mail <br />addresses to Pacific College and postage is paid. <br />S. A student has the right to cancel the enrollment agreement and obtain a refund of charges paid <br />through attendance at the first class session or through the seventh day of enrollment, whichever <br />is later. <br />6. If a student pays for tuition with federal financial aid and private funds, a student will receive the <br />refund on the portion that is paid by private money only. Regulations mandate schools to return <br />any'unearned' portion of federal financial aid fund back to its original source. The school will <br />process the refund within 45 days after receiving the notice of cancellation. <br />7. Students shall note that Pacific College also reserves the rights to cancel a student's enrollment <br />due to the student's conduct, lack of attendance, or failure to meet academic standards. <br />Student Identification <br />Each nursing student is provided an identification badge which must be worn at all times (above the <br />waist) while the student is attending classes at Pacific College or the clinical site (unless otherwise <br />instructed). <br />56 2020-2021 Catalog Pacific College <br />
