Travel ($3,300) <br />Travel is anticipated to be 500 miles driven per month by staff to meetings, educational sessions, <br />outreach, community gatherings, etc. 500 x $0.55/mile x 12 months = $3,300. An additional <br />$2,640 will be provided through other grants for additional mileage, parking, and other travel as <br />needed. <br />Supplies ($5,940) <br />Supplies includes, copier paper, pencils, flip charts, markers, storage boxes, banners, educational <br />materials, printing, etc. It is anticipated that supplies will be about $250 - $500 per month. <br />Contractual($144,000) <br />Our API Task Force Partners have all been working together since early 2020 to address <br />COVID-19 in the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in Orange County. <br />OCAPICA will subcontract to its API COVID-19 Task Force partners to support the program <br />and develop and test the health literacy educational materials, tools, strategies, and interventions <br />developed. These partners will each receive $18,000 from the federal funds and an additional <br />$6,000 from the private foundation funds each year to support program efforts in the Asian <br />American and Pacific Islander communities. In the first month of funding, we will undergo a <br />process with the existing task force for those with the most capacities, proximity to underserved <br />populations, and abilities to engage in the population health literacy strategies. We anticipate that <br />the most -likely partners will include: <br />- Korean Community Services (Federally Qualified Health Center and largest Korean <br />serving organization) <br />
