I'd like to submit a public comment on item 33 for the <br />upcoming City Council meeting on Tuessday, Sept. 21. <br />I am strongly in favor of this much -needed measure and I urge you to vote yes. Santa Ana, a city of <br />primarily renters, badly needs rent control and has for a long time. The pandemic has only made this need more <br />urgent. The Rent Stabilization Ordinance would do much to keep people in housing and avoid displacing any <br />more Santa Ana residents. <br />Please vote yes on the Rent Stabilization Ordinance. I know that Councilmember Hernandez supports the <br />ordinance and I thank him for that! <br />Thank you, <br />Allegra Ringo <br />
