F. Cart Colors. The Refuse, Recycling and Organics Carts or Cart lids will be <br />differentiated by color. The colors shall be colorfast and resistant to fading as a result of <br />weathering or ultraviolet degradation. Cart and Cart lid colors shall be consistent <br />throughout the City, and shall comply with CalRecycle requirements under SB 1383. <br />G. Cart Labeling and Hot Stamping. All Carts shall include a high -quality <br />educational information label using in -mold technology, such that all labeling shall be <br />integral to the outside of the lid, through the use of injection molding, and shall not be <br />affixed to any part of the Cart or lid using adhesives. Notwithstanding the provisions of <br />this Section, or the requirements of SB 1383, the in -mold lid label shall, at a minimum, <br />include for each Container: primary materials accepted; a clear indication of Prohibited <br />Container Contaminants for that Container type, notification forbidding Hazardous <br />Waste and describing proper Disposal thereof. Design for the in -mold labels must be <br />approved by City prior to ordering labels or Carts. <br />Lids shall be replaced when in -mold labels become worn, but no later than 90 days of <br />request from City. Information on the Refuse Carts shall include the telephone number <br />to call for Contractor for Bulky Item pickups and for general Customer service. All <br />Carts shall be labeled in accordance with CalRecycle requirements under SB 1383 <br />throughout the term of this Agreement, <br />In -mold labels shall be designed to include English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. <br />Hot stamps shall be on the top of the lid and/or on the body of the Cart and shall be <br />reviewed and approved by the City. <br />H. Cart Performance Requirements. All Carts shall be designed and <br />manufactured to meet the minimum performance requirements described below. <br />I. Cart Load Capacity. Depending on the capacity, the Carts shall have a <br />minimum load capacity as noted below without Container distortion, damage, or <br />reduction in maneuverability or any other functions as required herein. <br />August 17, 2021 75 City of Santa Ana <br />
