The commuter passenger rail will connect San Luis <br />Obispo to San Diego. This Project will add a second track parallel to the existing <br />track, and the addition of multiple stations along the train route. Joey is an integral <br />part of the Monument Team responsible for right-of-way project management, <br />and acquisition support services including appraisal coordination, acquisition, <br />relocation, condemnation support, cost estimating and development of the design <br />build procurement documents. <br />CALIFORNIA HIGH SPEED -RAIL PROJECT <br />Luirtoi [ a I iig,-speed Rail Authority I Fresno, CA 12016 - Ongoing <br />The California High -Speed Rail Authority is responsible for planning, designing, <br />building, and the operation of the first high-speed rail system in the nation Joey is a <br />key member of the consultant team providing right-of-way support on Construction <br />Package 1, a 23-mile segment between Avenue 19 in Madera County to East <br />American Avenue in Fresno County. He is responsible for the organization and <br />management of an intense utility conveyance and permit process for the Authority <br />preparing and tracking known and unknow utilities and coordination with owners, <br />utilities and stakeholders. <br />STATE ROUTE 91 CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENT <br />Riverside County Transportation Commission I Riverside, CA 12012 - 2017 <br />Joey was responsible for planning, managing, and implementing a wide array of <br />right-of-way activities during the environmental phase including strategic planning, <br />cost estimating, and market trend analysis; risk identification and management, <br />public outreach; design -build procurement process; corridor analysis, and early <br />and advance acquisition. Joey fully implemented and oversaw the entire right- <br />of-way process, policy development, and coordination with state and federal <br />regulatory agencies. This high -profile, politically sensitive design -build project <br />involved over 450 partial and full acquisitions with varying degree of difficulty, <br />and approximately 250 residential and business relocations. This project widened <br />approximately 16 miles of active highway through the urbanized area of Corona <br />and the County of Riverside. Project Cost: $1.3 billion including $250 million of <br />right-of-way capital costs. <br />STATE ROUTE 91 HIGH OCCUPANCY VEHICLE GAP CLOSURE <br />Riverside County Transportation Commission I Riverside, CA 12010 - 2014 <br />Joey was responsible for this seven -mile freeway widening project through the <br />developed corridor of Downtown Riverside. The right-of-way associated with this <br />project consisted of significant partial acquisitions affecting commercial, retail, <br />and public agency facilities, acquisition of railroad properties, and relocation of <br />several complex businesses. Joey was responsible for overall management and <br />implementation of the right-of-way delivery process, as well as coordination with <br />the various disciplines for project design, right-of-way engineering, appraisal, <br />environmental, Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) counsel, and <br />California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) functional leads. Project Cost: <br />$650 million including $50 million in right-of-way costs. <br />
