PWA The City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the <br />44 4"r' Constitution and the laws of the State of California, as the legal owners ("Owner") of the property <br />located at 1111, 1217, and 1221 North Bristol Street (Assessor Parcel Number 405-274-10, 11 and 12), <br />uj�Al and 1240 West Washington Avenue (Assessor Parcel Number 405-274-13), in the City of Santa Ana, <br />r 1\ County of Orange (the "Property") does hereby grant to the Southern California Edison Company, a <br />`l) California Corporation (collectively referred to as the "SCE"), the right to enter the Property and hereby <br />grants to SCE a Right -of -Entry for the following purpose: <br />Conduct environmental testing by taking soil samples, and if necessary'remediate by shallow <br />soil excavation, and hauling away contaminated soil. See site location in the attached EXHIBIT A. <br />SCE agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Owner from any liability arising out of SCE's exercise of <br />this License and Right -of -Entry. SCE further agrees to repair any damage to said Property caused by the <br />exercise of this License and Right -of -Entry at its sole cost and expense and to restore said Property, as <br />near as practicable, to the state in which it existed prior to the use of the Property by SCE. <br />The rights herein granted to SCE, are exclusive, and SCE agrees not to assign, transfer, lease, pledge, or <br />otherwise dispose of its License and Right -of -Entry without the prior express written approval of the <br />Owner. <br />This License and Right -of -Entry shall expire upon completion of said work, and in any event, no later <br />than March 31, 2022, unless extended by written agreement between the Owner and SCE. <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA (OWNER) <br />Kristine Ridge <br />City Manager <br />SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY <br />A Califord C rpor ti n <br />By: <br />Richard M.
