Brooke Acosta <br />Traffic Analysis/Bicycle Planning <br />Transportation Planner IBI Group <br />Ms. Acosta is a Transportation Planner that specializes in <br />EDUCATION <br />Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in IBI Group's Irvine office. <br />B.S. Biological Science, California State <br />Ms. Acosta's area of expertise as a planner includes local active <br />University, Fullerton, 2020 <br />transportation projects, complete corridor planning and multi -modal <br />B.A. Geography & the Environment, <br />connectivity planning. Her GIS experience includes spatial data <br />California State University, Fullerton, <br />2o2a <br />creation, eos atial analysis, and data management, manipulation, <br />g p Y g p <br />Certificate in Geographic Information <br />and visualization. Ms. Acosta also has experience using various <br />Systems (GIS), California State University, <br />components of the ArcGIS toolbox on ArcGIS Desktop and creating <br />Fullerton, 2020 <br />interactive maps through ArcGIS Online. She also has experience <br />maintaining and sharing spatial data between various formats. <br />Relevant Experience <br />Fresno -Madera State Route 41 & Avenue 9 Sustainable Corridors Study, <br />Fresno/Madera County, CA <br />IBI Group is conducting a study to identify sustainable and multimodal mobility <br />solutions for a quickly -growing region with increasing travel demand among <br />residents, commuters, and visitors. The study is particularly focused on expanding <br />sustainable mobility options for disadvantaged communities and overcoming barriers <br />stemming from income, environmental justice, disparities in public health, and safety. <br />Ms. Acosta assisted in developing several technical reports including an existing plan <br />review, public engagement plan, and planned improvements and goals and objectives <br />reports. Ms. Acosta also produced maps detailing current multimodal infrastructure, <br />collision data, demographic data, public health, and CalEnviroScreen data within the <br />study area. <br />SANDAG Central Mobility Hub Comprehensive Multimodal Corridor Plan, <br />San Diego, CA <br />IBI Group is conducting a study which aims to refine the Central Mobility Hub site <br />concept and integrate sustainable transportation connections throughout the <br />surrounding community which includes the Airport People Mover (APM), the freeway <br />and surface road network, and connections to Coronado. The study integrates <br />existing and planned transit services, intercity rail, intercity high-speed rail, local <br />roadway connections, highway connections, and active transportation connections. <br />Ms. Acosta planned several regional and neighborhood mobility hubs with enhanced <br />multi -modal access for bicyclists and pedestrians making first -last mile connections <br />throughout the region.
