From the <br />recruitment of a Operation Manager to the hiring of a member of the custodial staff, nothing is left to <br />chance. <br />HIRING NEW EMPLOYEES <br />From the time an applicant fills out an employment application, he or she is covered by <br />a formalized personnel program administered by an experienced staff. Each applicant is subject to <br />an extensive three-point background check prior to permanent employment. <br />EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION <br />1.To give the new employee a sense of belonging. <br />2.Provide necessary job related information. <br />3. Introduce the worker to his job. <br />4. Assess his initial performance. <br />Periodic follow-up interview, coupled with quarterly performance ratings, afford GBM the <br />opportunity to appraise and scrutinize each employee's job performance, work attitude and <br />reliability. Company will furnish employees <br />With a sleeve shirt, or some other type of upper body wear, bearing the company's identification. <br />Appropriate uniforms will be worn at all times, including personnel who are being trained. <br />COMMUNICATION SKILLS <br />Valley Maintenance will ensure that all member of custodial crew, on -site, will be able to <br />Communicate in English both verbally and in writing. All custodial personnel will be capable of <br />completing, in English, legible written forms and will be capable of understanding oral and/or written <br />instructions in English. <br />
