PI-SAM-008 (05/19) <br />1. Judgment; <br />2. Award; or <br />3. Settlement, <br />but does not include fines, sanctions, penalties, punitive or exemplary damages or the multiple <br />portion of any damages. <br />G. "Defense costs" mean any costs to investigate a "claim" or defend a "suit" seeking "damages. <br />These costs are outside the limits of insurance. <br />H. "Employee" includes a "leased worker" or a "temporary worker. <br />I. "Leased worker" means a person leased to you by a labor leasing firm under an agreement between <br />you and the labor leasing firm, to perform duties related to the conduct of your business. <br />J. "Suit" means a civil proceeding in which "damages" because of "abusive conduct" to which this <br />insurance applies are alleged. "Suit" also includes: <br />1. An arbitration proceeding in which such "damages" are claimed and to which you must submit <br />or do submit with our consent; or <br />2. Any other alternative dispute resolution proceeding in which such "damages" are claimed and to <br />which you submit with our consent. <br />K. "Temporary worker" means a person who is furnished to you to substitute for a permanent <br />"employee" on leave or to meet seasonal or short-term workload conditions. <br />L.
