Policy 1.4 encourages the creation and maintenance of parks and <br />open spaces; the planting of trees, green parkways and medians; <br />supports healthy food options; and encourages the maintenance of <br />continuous pattern of pathways that encourage an active healthy <br />lifestyle. <br />xviii. Policy 1.5 encourages quality community facilities, physical <br />infrastructure, traffic management and parking control, and other <br />public services to promote the livability, safety, and vitality of <br />neighborhoods. <br /> <br />Land Use Element: <br /> <br />xix. Policy LU-2.2 Public Realm. Maintain and improve the public realm <br />through quality architecture, street trees, landscaping, and other <br />pedestrian-friendly amenities. <br /> <br />Section 2. This General Plan Consistency Finding is not subject to the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section <br />15378 because it is not a project as defined under CEQA. <br /> <br />Section 3.
