The buyers are planning to improve the vacant property with the construction of a new <br />parking lot, which will increase the parking capacity of the Ramos Tires and Auto Repair <br />business to serve its customers. <br />Table 1: Project and Location Information <br />Project Analysis <br />There is not project at this location. <br />Public Notification <br />The summary vacation and the sale of the property will be recommended for approval <br />by the City Council at a regular public meeting. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the proposed sale of surplus <br />land is not a “project” under Section 15060(c) of the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA). Additionally, Section 15312 of the CEQA State Guidelines exempts sales of <br />surplus government property, except for parcels of land located in an area of statewide <br />regional or area-wide concern. The subject property is not located in such an area and <br />therefore, not subject to CEQA.
