Housing Element Update <br />Recommended Clarifications to the July 2022 Public Hearing <br />Draft Housing Element <br />The following represents recommend clarifications proposed by the community and City staff to the July <br />2022 Public Hearing Draft Housing Element. The updated content is shown by section and document page <br />number, with new content noted as underlined and deleted content noted as StFikethFeugh. Additionally, <br />the City's response to comments received from the community have also been included in this document. <br />Introduction <br />1. The Introduction section will be revised to include a "Terms and Acronyms List" to make the document <br />more expedient. <br />2. Table 2: Housing Implementation Summary Program 12 on Page 42 to be revised as follows: <br />Historic Preservation <br />Housing Program <br />Objective <br />Responsible Agency <br />Funding <br />Time <br />Frame <br />No. 12 <br />Historic <br />A. Implement the historic <br />PBA, Planning <br />CDBG, Grants, <br />juR. 2029 <br />Program and <br />preservation program and <br />Division <br />& GF <br />Annually <br />Ordinance <br />associated ordinances and <br />incentives, including Mills Act, <br />design review, etc., with a goal of <br />entering into contract with and/or <br />renewing at least 20 historic <br />resource preservation agreements <br />annually duringthe planning <br />period. <br />B. Proactively reach out to at least 20 <br />PBA, Planning <br />CDBG, Grants, <br />'•^^'^ <br />owners of properties eligible for <br />Division <br />& GF <br />Annually <br />placement on the local register of <br />historic properties annually to <br />encourage voluntary listing and <br />preservation of resource duringthe <br />planning period. <br />
