CITY COUNCIL REGULAR OPEN SESSION <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />MINUTES: Mayor Sarmiento called the Regular Open Session meeting to order at <br />6:13 p.m. <br />ROLL CALL <br />MINUTES: Clerk of the Council conducted roll call. All councilmembers were present with <br />the exception of Councilmember Mendoza. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Sarmiento <br />MINUTES: Councilmember Penaloza led the pledge of allegiance. <br />WORDS OF INSPIRATION <br />CEREMONIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Rupert Vega, Police Chaplain <br />Certificate of Recognition presented by Mayor Sarmiento to the Suavecito Prom <br />Sweepstakes Committee for Outstanding Contributions to the Community. <br />MINUTES: Item moved to the Junes 21, 2022 City Council Meeting. <br />2. Certificate of Recognition presented by Mayor Pro Tern Bacerra to the Santa Ana <br />College Softball Team for Exceptional Athletic Performance. <br />MINUTES: Item considered out of order prior to item 1 as it was moved to a future <br />meeting. <br />3. Certificate of Recognition presented by Councilmember Lopez to Loosies Pizza for <br />Outstanding Contributions to the Community. <br />4.
