Senior Designer for approximately 1.5 miles of30-inch-diameter cement mortar lined <br />and coated, welded steel pipe (CML&C WSP), PZ 925, along Grove Avenue between Eucalyptus Avenue <br />and Chino Avenue; design of an interim pressure reducing valve (PRV) station at the intersection of Grove <br />Avenue and Chino Avenue to break pressure from the PZ 1010 to PZ 925, situated on the north side of <br />Chino Avenue approximately 500 feet east of Grove Avenue,1.6 miles of 18-inch-diameter CML&C WSP, PZ <br />1010, along Chino Avenue between Grove Avenue and the Chino Avenue Bridge (Cucamonga Creek). <br />Cole Grade Road Pipeline Replacement, Valley Center Municipal Water District, CA. Project <br />Engineer for the design of approximately 6,930 linear feet of 14-inch-diameter PVC water pipe, connection <br />details, branch line connections, and relocation of existing appurtenances within the limits of the County <br />of San Diego project. The project will be bid as a component of the County's Cole Grade Road Improvement <br />Project with all design, construction, and construction phasing coordinated with County staff. <br />Bowron Road Sewer Upsize, City of Poway, CA. Senior Designerfor the replacement of surcharging <br />pipes along Bowron Road, south of Poway Road. Approximately 1,450 feet of 18-inch-diameter pipe will <br />be replaced with 21-inch-diameter pipe to alleviate the surcharging. An additional 480 feet of surcharging <br />8-inch pipe was analyzed and included in the final design of the project. Existing manholes were <br />eliminated to reduce cost where they were no longer necessary. Dewatering was a known issue prior to <br />construction; and a method of treatment and conveyance was determined for the project. <br />Lesterl. Berglund Water Treatment Plant Clearwell Bypass Pipeline, City of Poway, CA. <br />Senior Designerfor preliminary and final design of820 feet of30"-36"welded steel pipeline located in <br />and around complex piping at water treatment plant. Project includes hydraulic system analyses and <br />engineering services during construction. <br />Olivenhain Trunk Sewer Improvements Project, City of Encinitas, CA. Senior Designer for this <br />project that addressed existing maintenance issues, improved system reliability, and provided better <br />protection for water quality and habitat values in Escondido Creek and San Elijo Lagoon. Specific objectives <br />included rehabilitating 54 existing sewer manholes to reduce I & I, relocating 2,800 LF of the upper OTS <br />out of the Escondido Creek floodplain and increasing its capacity to meet currently projected system <br />needs, and providing environmentally appropriate access for maintenance vehicles along the remainder of <br />the OTS. <br />Las Vegas Valley Manhole and Pipe Rehab No. 709, Clark County Water Reclamation District, <br />NV. Project Designerto prepare a planning and alignment alternatives study. The final project is comprised <br />of 8"-1 5"gravity sewer alignments, and recommendations were made to either trench out and replace <br />or utilize cured -in -place pipe lining where appropriate.
