RESPONSIBILITY OF CONTRACTOR <br />The Contractor will provide security guard services approximately 20 hours per week at Birch Park. <br />Provide any safety equipment and specialized uniforms, if required. <br />SANTA ANA SENIOR CENTER <br />424 West Third St., Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br />I. SCOPE <br />The City's goal is to provide security guard services to serve as deterrence against crimes of <br />vandalism, theft and bodily injury at Santa Ana Senior Center and include the following duties: <br />a. Perform roving patrols of interior and exterior building areas. <br />b. Complete incident and daily operating reports. <br />c. Respond as necessary to support other life safety duties as identified in post orders and standard <br />operating procedures. <br />d. Direct patrons to areas within Birch Park. <br />e. Report building maintenance and safety concerns as necessary. <br />f. Enforce rules as required. <br />g. Mitigate various issues that arise in and around Birch Park. <br />h. Observe -and -report only. Guards are not expected to apprehend or physically detain any <br />individual. <br />i. Notify Santa Ana Police Department if police intervention is required. <br />j. Respond as necessary to support other life safety duties as identified in post orders and standard <br />operating procedures. <br />d. Direct patrons to areas within Jerome Park. <br />e.
