We encourage you to <br />contact us prior to the Public Hearing if <br />you have any questions. <br />Historic Resources Commission <br />Action: The Historic Resources <br />Commission will hold a Public Hearing to <br />receive public testimony, and will take <br />action on the item described below. Their <br />decision is final unless appealed to the <br />City Council within 10 days of the decision <br />by any interested party or group. <br />Project Location: 2222 NRoss Street <br />(historically known as the William T. Elliott <br />House) located in the Single Family <br />Residential (R-1) zoning district. <br />Project Applicant: Eriq Dominguez <br />Project Description:The applicant is <br />requesting approval of Historic Resources <br />Commission Application No. 2022-20, <br />Historic Register Categorization No. 2022- <br />10, and Historic Property Preservation <br />Agreement No. 2022-13 to allow the <br />placement and categorization in the Santa <br />Ana Register of Historical Properties as <br />Contributive for the above mentioned <br />property and to execute a Historic <br />Property Preservation Agreement with the <br />City of Santa Ana. <br />Environmental Impact: In accordance <br />with the California Environmental Quality <br />Act, the recommended action is exempt <br />from further review under Section 15331, <br />Class 31, as this action is designed to <br />preserve a historic resource. Categorical <br />Exemption No. 2022-82 will be filed for <br />this project. <br />Meeting Details: This matter will be <br />heard on Thursday, September 8, 2022, <br />at 4:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 22 <br />Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701. <br />Members of the public may attend this <br />meeting in -person or join via Zoom.
