portable iv_e rinKs <br />ICEmAMERICA <br />Ice Rink Description and Specifications <br />Ice -America proposes to install a portable outdoor ice rink for the City of Santa Ana, <br />to operate from December 8, 2021- January 2, 2022, including the following criteria <br />and for the included fee schedule. <br />Dates / Hours of Operation: <br />Open December 8, 2022 - January 6, 2023 <br />11:00am - 10:00pm Daily or as directed <br />2:30pm to 9:30pm on School Days <br />Location: <br />City Hall Plaza of the Flags <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br />Rink size: <br />82' x 50' = approx. 4,100 sq.ft. (subject to location space) <br />Capacity: <br />164 skaters (1 per 25 square feet maximum) <br />Principals/Project Manager/Marketing/Technician: <br />Scott Williams / Phil Valentine / Azumi Williams / JD Uhls / Scott Rensmon <br />Equipment and Services <br />The following equipment and services will be provided by Ice -America: <br />- Design and build substructure for ice rink will be executed by our partner, <br />All Access Staging & Productions. <br />- Air-cooled refrigeration system/ pump/ hoses/ expansion tank will be <br />provided by and include 24-hour on -call service from Aggreko, United <br />Rentals, or similar. <br />- Optional Generator for refrigeration system included in estimate and fuel <br />for generator provided by host. <br />- Insulation and vapor barriers. <br />- Modular railing system with clear Plexiglas facing towards the rink with <br />room to display signage upon approval from City of Santa Ana. <br />- Ice rink maintenance equipment, including a Sport Ice resurfacer or Design <br />Form Model B resurfacer, used multiple times daily and as needed. <br />- Ice rink freezer system (approx. 50 x 82) using the Ice -World aluminum <br />tubing system, headers, and equipment. <br />- Rental ice skates, high quality Roxa brand with easy to use buckles and <br />strong support, approximately 275 pairs of various sizes, sharpened, ready- <br />807 Sprucelake Drive, Harbor City, CA 90710 7 <br />lei. 213=6_9423 <br />City Council swilliams@ice-ar7aica?Am 10/18/2022 <br />Ice-America.com <br />
