EXEMPT FROM FEES PURSUANT <br />TO GOVERNMENT CODE 5 6103 - <br />AK- 091XXl09 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009-03 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />COMMISSION OF THE ClTY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION <br />NO. 2009-01 TO PLACE THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />1809 NORTH HELIOTROPE DRIVE, SANTA ANA ON THE <br />HISTORICAL REGISTER AND APPROVING HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 2009-01 PLACING <br />SAID PROPERTY WITHIN THE CONTRIBUTIVE <br />CATEGORY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION OF THE <br />ClTY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. 'The Historic Resources Commission of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby finds, deterniines and declares as follows: <br />A. On October 1, 2009, the Historic Resources Commission held a duly <br />noticed public hearing for the placement on the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties (Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br />2009-01 and categorization (Historic Resources Commission <br />Categorization No. 2009-01) of the Miller House, located at 1809 North <br />Heliotrope Drive, Santa Ana. <br />B. The Miller House is a 1935 example of ModernelArt Moderne and Colonial <br />Revival architectural style. <br />C. Character defining features of ,this building include smooth stucco finish, <br />roof configuration, chimney, stained glass windows, and scrollwork. <br />D. This home qualifies for designation as Contributive because it "is a good <br />example of period architecture" and "contributes to the overall character <br />and history'' of historically significant Floral Park. <br />E. The legal owner of the subject property is Lew Janowsky. <br />F. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit <br />A and incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br />G.
