INSURANCE NOT REQUIRED A-2022-223 WORK MAY PROCEED CLERK OF THE COUNCIL FIRST AMENDMENT TO EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND THE SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT (24 CFR Parts 91 and 576) THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT C%A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING is entered into this 15' day of November, 2022, by and between 4= the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and the Santa ota Ana Police Department ("Subrecipient"). RECITALS C> A. On July 1, 2022, the City entered into an Emergency Solutions Grant Memorandum of Understanding with the Santa Ana Police Department, A-2022-093-01, to provide Emergency Funds from the United States Department of Housing and urban Development (HUD) to be used in the operation of an emergency solution program for the homeless or at risk of homelessness of the City of Santa Ana ("said Memorandum of Understanding"), B. In an effort to provide additional housing assistance activities to serve Santa Ana residents experiencing homelessness, $30,000 will be reallocated to the Santa Ana Police Department HEART program. C. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Memorandum of Understanding, the parties desire to amend to increase funds to the Subrecipient, which need to be spent by June 30, 2023. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and subject to the terms and conditions of said Memorandum of Understanding, except as herein modified, the parties agree as follows: 1. Paragraph 5, shall be amended to increase funding to Subrecipient by $30,000 in additional Data Collection and Outreach and Engagement Services. The new total sum shall be increased from $50,000 to an amount not to exceed $80,000 in grant funding. 2. Section 1, subsection A, shall be amended to add the specific tasks required of the new funds as depicted in Subrecipient's Scope of Services attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference. 3. Section 111, shall be amended to increase finding to Subrecipient by $30,000 for a total sun not to exceed $80,000. Subrecipient's Budget for these new funds is attached hereto as Exhibit B and incorporated herein by reference. 4. Except as hereinabove modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged and in Rill force and effect.
