Ali Halimi graduated from Tehran Azad University where he obtained a degree in power <br />systems engineering in 2002. <br />Experience <br />During Mr. Halimi's career, he has had the opportunity to work with many organizations <br />within the engineering industry. Mr. Halimi's career started in 2001 as an Electrical <br />Technician at Efrat Co where he oversaw system maintenance and troubleshooting. As <br />his career progressed, he moved into a Lead Electrical Engineer position at Tehran <br />University and later a Project Engineer position at ETAP Corp. In 2012, Mr. Halimi was <br />promoted to a Project Manager position at ETAP Corp. In this role, he was responsible <br />for leading power system automation and real-time solutions for large industrial projects. <br />He also directed a team of eight engineers, which grew to a team of twelve when he <br />transitioned into the T&D Dept. Manager role within ETAP Corps in 2014. <br />As a Department Manager, Mr. Halimi was often charged with overseeing and <br />conducting workshops worldwide for power system engineering courses and ensuring <br />eLearning platforms were properly integrated into physical workshops to enhance <br />development. In 2017, Mr. Halimi took a Senior Power Systems Engineer role at Eaton <br />Corp. Within this role, he managed large-scale projects and performed onsite visits with <br />customers. He also led the ETAP Committee Group consisting of 20+ members. <br />Following this role, in 2019, Mr. Halimi took on a Project Manager role at KSG <br />Engineering working with power system study projects, and finally, in 2020, he became <br />the CEO and Managing Director of SMAART POWER. He's now responsible for leading <br />business development and marketing functions as well as hiring and securing talented <br />engineering teams to support both large and small-scale projects. <br />Matt Rahmanifard — VP of Engineering <br />Education <br />Matt Rahmanifard graduated from University Ashrafi Esfahani where he obtained a <br />degree in civil engineering in 2005. Later in 2010, he went on to obtain an Associate of <br />Science in Electrical Engineering at Irvine Valley College and eventually a Bachelor of <br />Science in Electrical Engineering at Southern California Institute of Technology. In <br />2014. <br />Experience <br />From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Rahmanifard served as an Electrical Drafter at Accessible <br />Consulting Engineers with responsibility for reviewing and interpreting project <br />specifications and delivering layouts for new electrical systems. He was later promoted <br />to Electrical Designer and Tester at Accessible Consulting Engineers in 2007 where he <br />oversaw extensive research projects and reported findings to management and <br />stakeholders. As Project Engineer in 2009, he began to perform more in-depth electrical <br />acceptance testing and maintenance procedures on electrical products. He also was <br />
