CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />RFP NO.: 22-133 <br />ON -CALL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES FOR PFAS TREATMENT SYSTEMS <br />level package for the project in which the Consultant provides a refined project budget, cost <br />estimate and project schedule that the City can commit to. Land acquisitions, fatal flaws, <br />and the finalized design criteria shall be incorporated into the Final Design Report. <br />C. 60% DESIGN SUBMITTAL <br />After receiving and incorporating comments provided by the City on the 30% Design <br />Submittal, the Contractor shall provide an updated 60% Design Submittal in which <br />expectations and objections are finalized of the project as well as confirmation of <br />constructability and permit requirements. The Consultant shall also provide plans and <br />specifications as well as an engineering cost estimate. The Consultant shall also implement <br />acceptable value engineering requirements (if applicable) and identify preferred equipment <br />and materials. <br />D. 90% DESIGN SUBMITTAL <br />The Contractor shall provide 90% Design Plans with the complete project design, including <br />plans and specifications, subject to review comments by the City and any other potential <br />stakeholders. The 90% Design Package shall confirm the bid availability of the project, <br />possess an engineer's cost estimate for the bid, and finalize the building permit package <br />(when applicable). The Consultant shall also provide a Commissioning Plan in the 90% <br />Design Submittal in which the goals, systems, and commissioning processes are identified. <br />E. FINAL DESIGN (100% DESIGN SUBMITTAL) <br />In the final design submittal, the Contractor shall incorporate all comments and requests <br />made by the City in previous design submittals and shall include, but is not limited to the <br />following: <br />Cost Estimate, Specifications and Project Schedule: <br />a. Final construction schedule and estimate of construction duration <br />b. Construction phasing plan <br />c. Final construction staging plan with access to construction staging area <br />obtained or final staging area to be obtained <br />d. Final commissioning plan <br />e. Engineer's cost estimate for bid and backup documentation <br />f. All land permits received <br />g. Complete set of stamped permit application drawings and documents <br />h. Complete set of project permit applications excluding Contractor obtained <br />permits <br />i. Complete set of technical specifications <br />J. Complete list of special conditions related to construction <br />11. Architectural system (If Applicable) <br />a.
