• The basic goal for Roadmaster Drivers School is to provide training in order for the graduate to become employed. <br />• Roadmaster maintains personnel whose efforts are directed at placement assistance for the graduates. <br />• Employment is not guaranteed. <br />• Salary earned is not guaranteed. <br />• A specific number of behind the wheel hours is not guaranteed. <br />• The Placement Assistance Department assists the student to make the transition from school to work. <br />• It is the responsibility of the student to commit personal effort in searching for employment opportunities. <br />• Students are given instructions on completion of employment applications and interviewing techniques during training. <br />• Prior to graduation, each student is given individual guidance and information about companies that are currently hiring graduates of <br />Roadmaster. <br />• The School's Placement Assistance Department may not be able to assist the student in finding a position in the trucking industry if <br />the student has been convicted of a felony; if the student has been convicted of any offense involving the use of alcohol or drugs; if the <br />student's driving record contains multiple traffic offenses in the prior three (3) years or if the student's driver license has been sus- <br />pended or revoked for any cause. <br />ROADMASTER DOES NOT GUARANTEE EMPLOYMENT. <br />FINANCIAL AID SERVICES <br />• Students are responsible for payment of tuition and fees in accordance with their enrollment agreements. <br />• The school finance department will provide assistance to the student regarding tuition financing. <br />• See page 8 for additional information. <br />RECORDS RETENTION <br />• Academic progress records are maintained at the school and progress records are periodically provided to the student during the <br />training program. <br />• Transcripts are provided to students upon graduation. <br />• Permanent records are maintained at the Administrative Offices and are available to graduates and employers upon request. <br />STUDENT HOUSING <br />• Roadmaster maintains a relationship with a local hotel which out-of-town students may access for an additional cost while attending <br />classes at Roadmaster. <br />• Third party housing is available at hotels and private rentals within a twenty-five (25) mile radius around the school. Short term rentals <br />in the area such as hotels and private rentals range from $66.00 - $328.00 or more per night. Students may access such short term <br />rentals by contacting local hotels or through use of third -party rental applications. <br />• The School has no dormitory facilities under its control and has no responsibility to find or assist Student with housing arrangements. <br />STUDENT LEARNING RESOURCES I <br />• Roadmaster students all receive access to the state CDL manual as part of their training materials.
