The Academic Associate Degree in Computer Business Applications will be awarded upon completion ofthe requirements for the diploma, <br />plus completion of the graduation requirements as described in the catalog. <br />QUARTER CREDIT HOURS: <br />* 1 quarter credit is 10lecture hours. Students are required to complete 2 hours of homework for every one hour <br />of lecture instruction. <br />** Hands-on Training is included in the clock hours lecture for computer courses. <br />Note: Courses with a prerequisite are listed in the course description and on the syllabus. <br />General Education Every student who graduates from Learnet with an A.A. is unique —almost no two take <br />Requirements exactly the same courses. But to be educated is to possess some values in common, some <br />shared competencies and modes of thought. Thus, all graduates meet a 24 quarter units <br />of general education requirement that gives them broad exposure to ideas and skills <br />outside their own areas of special interest. <br />All students entering an Academic Associate Degree program must complete 24 quarter <br />units of college general education subjects including: <br />1. English Composition, 9 quarter units <br />2. Mathematics, 5 quarter units (either Algebra or Geometry) <br />3. Science, 5 quarter units (life science or physical science) <br />4.
