126 <br />Rea( Estate and finance Department <br />Academic Associate's in Business Administration: Real Estate Concentration <br />Program Description and Learnet meets the educational and professional needs of our diverse student body in a <br />Objectives supportive, caring environment that provides the technical skills and knowledge necessary <br />for employment advancement in today's job market. This program does not lead to real <br />estate licensure. This Academic Associate's in Business Administration: Real Estate <br />Concentration Program incorporates various learning disciplines, such as computer skills, <br />business management, and real estate. Furthermore, this program also provides students <br />with knowledge of business communications concepts, understanding of business and real <br />estate law, and learning the principles of management skills. The curriculum also equips <br />students with advanced knowledge and an expanded understanding of the inner workings <br />of the real estate professional. The Academic Associate degree in Business Administration <br />with a Major Concentration in Real Estate will be awarded upon completion of the <br />requirements forthe diploma, plus completion of the graduation requirements as described <br />in the catalog. Courses are offered on campus and online. <br />Program Learning Outcomes <br />In addition to outcomes for the Businesses Administration, on successful completion of the <br />Real Estate concentration, the student should be able to do the following: <br />• Demonstrate the ability to analyze ethical and procedural problems that arise in <br />general business and real estate. <br />• Discuss and business sales techniques and evaluate real estate marketing. <br />• Discuss and calculate basic business mathematics problems and solve real estate <br />taxes. <br />• Explain and evaluate methods of financing in business and real estate purchases. <br />• Demonstrate the ability to analyze the factors that affect business and real estate <br />values. <br />• Discuss and evaluate real estate markets and trends. <br />Academic Associate Upon successful completion of the program, an Academic Associate Degree will be issued <br />Degree to the student. <br />Revision Date on <br />
