144 <br />Construction Department <br />General Contractor <br />Program Description and The General Contractor Program is designed to assist students in obtaining General <br />Obj tives Contractor licensures from the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). This <br />program is a sequence of courses in a specialized field that builds both theoretical <br />knowledge and practical skills information. This program is taught by highly regarded <br />1U practitioners working in their fields of specialization. Students of the General Contractor <br />Program will work in various fields as specified in the appropriate Standard Industrial <br />Classification (SIC) Codes from 1521 to 1799. Lead Occupations are Construction Worker I, <br />and Contractor, General Building. <br />Certificates of Students who complete their curriculum objectives within the maximum timeframe are <br />Completion eligible to graduate.
