Plans shall incorporate design criteria and requirements conforming to the City of Santa Ana (CSA) and other governmental agencies including, but not limited to the California Building Code, ADA, CSA Standard Plans. All plans, the title sheet of the specifications, calculations and reports must be signed and stamped by the consultant's licensed professional landscape architect, architect or engineer. • CostEstimating: consultant shall provide cost estimating services to provide "Opinion of Probable Cost". Consultant shall contact contractors, manufacturers, or draw info from recently bid projects when preparing their estimates. • Permits: Consultant shall assist City in obtaining approvals and/or permits from applicable agencies as needed, including project submittal, responding to plan check comments, and meeting with Building Officials if required. • Environmental: If requested, Consultant shall provide environmental review for projects, State CEQA and/or Federal NEPA, as required. • Storm Water Best Management Practices: have knowledge and incorporate into design practice principles of storm water best management practices (BMP). • WQMP: Consultant shall be able to determine when WQMP is required for a project, have ability to prepare the document, and incorporate the findings in the overall design. • Quality Control: Consultant shall tightly control the quality of the work perform by in-house staff and/or sub -consultants. Incomplete or poor quality work will not be accepted. No additional compensation will be approved for changes required to deliver a tightly coordinated set of contract documents. • Bid Advertisement Support: Consultant shall assist during the bid advertisement period by responding to bidder questions, attending pre -bid job walks, assisting with addenda preparation, attending pre -construction meeting. • Construction Support: Consultant shall assist during construction period by attending pre -construction meeting, responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), attending regular site meetings as requested and final inspections, submittal review, change order review, troubleshooting and finding solutions to unforeseen site conditions. • As Built Plans: Upon completion of project, as -built plans may be submitted to the consultant to incorporate all changes made during the construction period.
