The consulting firm/s selected for these services shall demonstrate the ability and experience in <br />the following types or work and not limited to: <br />A. Prepare legal descriptions, plats and maps for subdividing property <br />B. Research existing County and City records for survey monuments within the project area. <br />Prior to any clearing, removal, or excavation efforts, perform a diligent search for property <br />line monuments, street centerline monuments, and benchmarks within the project area, <br />recording their identities and precise locations in reference to monuments or witness <br />monuments that will not be disturbed during construction. The records of these <br />monuments and references shall conform to Section 8771 of the Business and Professions <br />Code of the State of California. After completion of the construction, any monument <br />disturbed or removed during construction shall be reset, conforming to Section 8771. Each <br />centerline intersection shall be drawn on a single Corner Record showing local tie points <br />and tie distances. A pdf copy of the final receded Corner Record shall be submitted to the <br />City. <br />C. Perform boundary line adjustments <br />D. Perform monument perpetuation/preservation in areas that will be impacted by City <br />projects <br />o Includes site investigation for existing monumentation, with a report provided to <br />the City with recommendations. <br />o May include pre- and post -construction records <br />E. Replace lost or obliterated property corners <br />F. Set boundary markers or property corners, also known as monuments <br />G. Retrace boundaries for fences and other purposes <br />H. Locate, relocate, establish, reestablish, or retrace, or retrace any property line or boundary <br />of any parcel of land, right-of-way, easement, or alignment of those lines or boundaries <br />1. Prepare legal descriptions and information shown with the description of any deed or other <br />title document <br />J. Prepare Record of Surveys <br />Map Checkine Services <br />A. Information furnished by the City for checking will be roughly as follows: I set of <br />Exhibits, title reports, reference documents (Deed, Parcel Map, Tract Map, etc.), traverse <br />closures, and improvement plans. <br />B. Prepare maps or plats <br />C. Review Exhibits for technical correctness and completeness, consistency with the City <br />guidelines and requirements, compliance with the Subdivision Map Act, and acceptance <br />for recording. <br />D. Review title report and existing easements for correct plotting and references. <br />E. Review improvement plans associated with the project to ensure the Exhibits correctly <br />identify the limits and location as shown on the improvement plans. <br />F.
