Appendix <br />ATTACHMENT 1 <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br />FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYING SERVICES <br />RFP NO.: 19-090 <br />Introduction and Background: <br />The City of Santa Ana intends to retain Professional Land Surveyors, licensed in the State of <br />California, to perform land surveying services on an as -needed or "on -call" basis, or project basis <br />for Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects, and/or for projects under construction. Specific <br />services shall be on -call and shall include all duties typically expected of a Professional Land <br />Surveyor or surveying firm. <br />A Professional Services Agreement will be entered into with several of the qualified <br />firms/consultant(s) to provide Professional Land Surveying services for a variety of projects on <br />an on -call basis. On an on -call, as -needed basis, the selected firm(s) may be asked to provide <br />professional services on specific, project -by -project basis, based on an agreed -upon specific scope <br />of services and fees. <br />In general, work consists of general Land Professional Surveying services for Public Works <br />Projects and or related to City facilities. The funding sources for each project may vary for each <br />project/task order assignment shall comply with the funding agency's requirements. The <br />consultant shall be able to assist the City through this contract to provide the necessary services. <br />The consultant shall utilize in-house staff and/or sub -consultants to complete the assignments to <br />meet the City standards. For specialized work for which the prime consultant shall require a <br />sub -consultant, the prime consultant shall serve as an administrative liaison between the <br />City and the sub -consultant. <br />Prime consultant mark-ups for sub -consultant work will not be allowed. <br />All proposals, plans, drawings, specifications, estimates, grant applications, and/or studies will be <br />subject to the final approval and satisfaction of the City of Santa Ana. <br />Scope of Services <br />On as needed basis, the selected firm/s shall provide the City with the following services as <br />described herein.
