I. INTRODUCTION / PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />Nature of Work: <br />The City now desires to engage a professional consultant to provide pre -construction and <br />construction management services for the Fairview Bridge Replacement and Street <br />Improvement from 9th Street to 16th Street (Project). The consultant shall provide <br />Construction Manager, Inspector, and Contract Administrator for this Project. <br />Number of Proposals and Signature: <br />Five (5) hard copies are required to accompany an electronic submittal of the complete <br />proposal package on PlanetBids. One of the hard copies shall be marked as "ORIGINAL" <br />and be signed by a company official with the power to bind the company, and <br />submitted to the City of Santa Ana. Please be explicit in identifying the appropriate <br />person with legal authority to bind the company. <br />The Statement of Qualifications shall be limited to a maximum of (20) double -sided sheets <br />of paper (excluding front and back covers, section dividers and attachments such as <br />resumes, forms). Font size shall be minimum 11-point Arial. Additional (4) double -sided <br />sheets of I I" x 17" for exhibits only may be included. <br />Proposal Evaluation and Rating: <br />The criteria for evaluating the SOQ submitted will take the following items into <br />consideration: <br />• Firm/Team Experience 30% <br />• Understanding of Need 30% <br />• Relevant Project Experience 30% <br />• References 10% <br />The City has established a proposal review committee to evaluate proposers based on the <br />response to this RFP, which includes adherence to outlined directions and format, and the <br />City evaluation criteria set forth above.
