a <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />3. Bookmobile Collection: Relocate Bookmobile collection of approximately 8,000 books <br />and audiovisual materials to the Newhope Library, 122 N. Newhope Street upon closure of Main <br />Library. <br />4. Shelving and Furniture: No shelving is included. However, Contractor shall be required to move <br />and store some miscellaneous furniture items, including a piano, several newer storage cabinets, a <br />large maker table and stools, and no more than 25 book carts. <br />5. Technology: Larger -sized equipment, including multifunction devices, self -check stations, security <br />gates, a laptop dispensing kiosk, a mobile device charging station, and two (2) arcade machines, <br />shall be included in the project scope. <br />6. Artwork and Fragile Items: The Main Library has several pieces of artwork, including a large <br />painting, an antique vase, and a wall -mounted display case that must be specially packed and <br />stored. Contractor shall do the packing of all items designated as fragile. <br />7. Packing: Packing of the Library's circulating and non -circulating collections and materials will be <br />done by City staff, but the Contractor must provide all boxes. The Contractor shall also ensure that <br />boxes containing the collections are kept and stored in the sequence provided by staff to allow for <br />items to be reshelved in a timely manner. <br />8. Mandatory Pre -Bid Walkthrough: Staff will label all miscellaneous non -collection items, including <br />furniture and technology -related items that need to be moved. These items will be marked and visible <br />during the mandatory pre -bid walkthrough. <br />9.
