Language of Instruction <br />All classes are taught in English. NTMATraining Centers does not offer English as a <br />Second Language (ESL) classes. English proficiency is required of all students as criteria <br />of the admissions process. Proof of a U.S, high school diploma or GED satisfies this <br />requirement, or a passing score of 233 reading, 235 writing and 230 arithmatic on the <br />Accuplacer Ability to Benifit (ATB) exam. Student possessing a high school diploma, GED <br />or its equivalent must also pass a Wonderlic (Scholastic Level Examination) exam with a <br />passing score of 12 for admissions in the Machinist Training program. <br />Transfer of Credit <br />NTMATraining Centers does not consider prior experiential learning or course work <br />from other institutions transferable for credit units toward any program. <br />Re -admitted students may apply previous coursework completed at NTMATraining <br />Centers within the past 12 months contingent upon approval of the Campus Director. <br />Notice Concerning Transferability of Credits and Credentials <br />Earned at our Institution <br />The transferability of credits you earn at NTMATraining Centers is at the complete <br />discretion of an institution to which you may seek to transfer, Acceptance of the <br />certificate you earn in the educational program is also at the complete discretion of <br />the institution to which you may seek to transfer. If the certificate that you earn at this <br />institution are not accepted at the institution to which you seek to transfer, you may be <br />required to repeat some or all of your coursework at that institution. For this reason <br />you should make certain that your attendance at this institution will meet your <br />educational goals.This may include contacting an institution to which you seek to <br />transfer after attending NTMATraining Centers to determine if your credits will be <br />accepted. <br />NTMATraining Centers currently has an articulation agreement for some credits earned <br />in the Machinist Training program at the following school(s): LATradeTech. <br />Please contact the above schools for more information on the transferability of credits <br />to their institutions. <br />Please check with the Student.
