Course Repetitions <br />Students who desire to repeat courses for withdrawals, incompletes and or other issues <br />are to submit their request to Student Services. Request approvals are at the discretion <br />of the Campus Director, <br />Termination <br />A student is subject to termination for violating any of the following: failure to maintain <br />satisfactory academic progress, failure to comply with the school's attendance policy, <br />failure to comply with the school's student conduct policy. <br />Dismissal/Re-admission <br />As a general rule, machinist training students that are dropped from the program for <br />unsatisfactory performance, are not re -admitted unless there have been bona fide <br />extra- neous circumstances, i.e., an extended illness. In these cases, re -admittance is <br />contingent upon approval from the Campus Director. <br />Student Complaint and Grievance Procedure <br />Students are encouraged, at all times, to communicate their concerns to members of the <br />faculty and administration. If a situation arises in which a student has a complaint or <br />grievance regarding grades, instruction or other topics related to their program of study, <br />the following procedure is in effect: <br />• Make an appointment to discuss the matter with your instructor, if applicable. If not <br />resolved... <br />• Make an appointment to discuss the matter with the Director of Training. If not <br />resolved... <br />• Make an appointment to discuss the matter with the Campus Director. If a student is <br />unable to resolve a problem informally, a written grievance may be submitted to the <br />Campus Director. <br />• The written grievance must be submitted to the Campus Director.An incident Report <br />form is available for students use and may be obtained from the Campus Director. <br />An Incident Report is not required in submitting the written grievance. <br />• The Campus Director will verify that the student has made an attempt to resolve the <br />concern informally with the Instructor or Director of Training. <br />• The Campus Director will call a grievance committee hearing within 24 hours of <br />receipt of the written grievance.The committee will be composed of the Campus <br />Director, the Director of Training, and any individuals whose participation is warranted <br />by the circumstances of the particular concern. <br />Scan to visit our vvelasite and social media pages. <br />Registration information: Santa Fe Springs • 562-921.3722 • http:ttrainingcenters.org.admissions/gainful-employment <br />15 <br />
