• Must have basic knowledge of shop mathematics and blue print reading and able to <br />read and write in English. <br />Class Size <br />Maximum 20 trainees <br />Estimated Schedule of Total Charges for the Entire Educational Program <br />Tuition for the program is charged for a 16 or 18 week time period. <br />I. The following approximate cost applies to programs paid for by the student: <br />Registration Fee (non-refundable): $ 125.00 <br />Books: $ 350.00 <br />Materials and Supplies: $ 320.00 <br />Application Fee: $ 25.00 <br />STRF Fee (non-refundable): $ 12.50 <br />Tuition: $ 4,362.50 <br />Estimated Schedule of Total Charges for Entire Educational Program $ 5,195.00 <br />II. The following applies to programs funded by the State of California: <br />a. Employer has an in -kind contribution of $500.00, which includes the cost of the <br />book. <br />b. Students are not required to pay tuition for this program. Payment is based on a <br />contract with the State of California. <br />For schedule call Marcie Correa, Director of Retraining (562) 404-4295 ext. 131. <br />Advanced Mastercam (144 hour) Program <br />Scope and Objectives <br />The students will improve their 2D tool -paths and learn how to generate advance tool <br />paths with 3D surface models.The student's competency will advance them into 4th and <br />5th axis programing.They will learn mill turning and learn how to adjust post processors <br />for other CNC machines in the machine shop.
