These entities have expertise with alcohol and substance abuse, and may share important insights regarding City's <br />information presentation to Council. <br />County oversees numerous assistance programs, perhaps over two -hundred. Some of these programs may serve City to also transition <br />people needing, and willing to accept, counseling, housing, and care. <br />Arresting, detaining, and then releasing individuals, minus supportive services, seems incomplete. A process, with options for care, <br />may achieve public's call for action, and present an opportunity to offer much -needed help for a more lasting benefit. <br />Thank you, <br />Jeff Dickman <br />French Park <br /> <br />
