Bristol-Tolliver Street Urban Greening Project <br />August 1, 2023 <br />Page 2 <br />3 <br />6 <br />2 <br />1 <br />On January 17, 2023, City Council adopted Resolution 2023-002, which authorized the <br />Executive Director of the Public Works Agency to execute agreements with CNRA for <br />the project. On April 3, 2023, Staff was notified that the City was awarded $3,502,500 <br />for design and construction of the project (Exhibit 2). <br />A stormwater project design consultant is being procured for project design, which is <br />anticipated to be completed in Spring 2024. Construction is anticipated to start in <br />Summer 2024 and will take approximately one year to complete. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. The project design <br />consultant will assess the environmental impact of this project in compliance with the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Staff is requesting Council approval of an appropriation adjustment to recognize the <br />Urban Greening Grant Program funding of $3,502,500 from CNRA into the PWA <br />Enterprise Capital Grants, State Grant-Direct Revenue Account (No. 16417002-52025) <br />and appropriate the same amount into the Public Works-Water Quality and Control, <br />Improvements Other Than Building (No. 16417640-66220). With the approval of the <br />amendment to the FY 2023-24 Capital Improvement Program, funds will be budgeted <br />and available for expenditure in FY 2023-24 (Exhibit 3).
