<br />STRUCTURAL PRINCIPAL -IN -CHARGE
<br />Kal Benuska is a Partner at John A. Martin & Associates, Inc.. Kal will serve as
<br />the Principal -In -Charge for the design team assigned to this project. As a leader of
<br />similar facilities within the firm, he understands the unique requirements involved
<br />in this typology and has experience directing similar projects. He will ensure
<br />efficient levels of oversight of the structural design team, including input on design
<br />parameters and construction systems, appropriate allocation and commitment of the
<br />firm's resources, and precise quality reviews. He will serve as a liaison to governing
<br />agencies as needed and will work with the client and project team to proactively
<br />resolve complex issues in a timely manner. A member of the John A. Martin &
<br />Associates, Inc. staff since 1986, Kal's experience in structural engineering design
<br />and project management encompasses a diverse array of project types including
<br />sport facilities, civic centers, office buildings, multi -family housing developments,
<br />convention centers, theatres, educational facilities, and libraries.

<br />MECHANICAL ENGINEERAND MEPF PRINCIPAL -IN -CHARGE
<br />Gurdaver is a Principal at Guttmann & Blaevoet. He brings over 30 years of experience
<br />as a principal engineer in mechanical and electrical design for building services in
<br />civic/public, higher education, and healthcare projects. He provides exceptional
<br />project management, delivering on time and within budget.
<br />As a strong proponent of sustainable design, he is specialized in low to zero net energy
<br />buildings and has deep knowledge in all -electric design and building electrification
<br />applications. Educated and professionally trained in the United Kingdom, he is very
<br />familiar with both LEED and BREEAM (UK) criteria.
<br />Gurdaver has led the mechanical and plumbing systems design of numerous
<br />recreational and aquatic center projects for various client types including many
<br />municipalities in California. He is currently working on the Rengstorff Park Aquatics
<br />Center for City of Mountain View, the Piedmont Community Pool for City of Piedmont,
<br />the Orange Memorial Park Aquatic Center for City of South San Francisco, the
<br />South Oxnard Aquatics Center for City of Oxnard, and the Addison-Penzak Jewish
<br />Community Center Aquatics Center; and recently completed the Spartan Recreation
<br />& Aquatic Center for San Jose State University, and the Edwards Family Athletics
<br />Center for University of California, Davis.
