2022-2025 MOU City of Santa Ana & SEIU Full-Time Employees Unit Page 88 <br />C. The City agrees to meet with SEIU (at its request) at least twice within twenty (20) <br />working days of the written notification of the RFP to consider SEIU's positions <br />regarding the RFP. The City agrees that upon mutual agreement of the parties, it <br />will agree to meet more than twice prior to bringing the RFP to the City Council <br />and upon mutual agreement may agree to give SEIU more than twenty (20) working <br />days in which to conduct the meetings with the City representatives. <br />D. The City also agrees that if the existing employees who will be impacted by the <br />contracting out (i.e. those employees whose work will be contracted out if there is <br />an RFP accepted by the City) wish to bid for the work by submitting a response to <br />the RFP, the City will consider such response along with the other responses <br />received. <br />E. After the City receives the bids and identifies the most responsible bidder, the City <br />will notify the Union, who will have five (5) calendar days to submit information <br />to the City as to why it believes the City should keep the work in house and how <br />the employees in this unit can perform the work.
